Joseph J. Fay, MD
Dr. Joseph Fay, an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with years of service to Capital Region residents, merged his private practice with Northeast Orthopaedics upon its inception in 1995. With a B.A. from Buffalo, Dr. Fay received his M.D. from New York Medical College in 1968. Dr. Fay interned and was an Orthopaedic resident at Albany Medical Center. He served a fellowship in Orthopaedic Pathology under Dr. Crawford Campbell.
He has served as president of the medical/dental staff at Albany Memorial Hospital and has been a Memorial trustee board member.
Dr. Fay is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He served as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Memorial from 1991 to 2000. He has recently completed his term as Medical Director of the Executive Woods Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Dr. Fay was awarded the "Founder's Award" in January of 2008 from Northeast Health System for his many years of service and leadership at Albany Memorial Hospital. Location(s)Albany
