Dr. Richard L. Katz has been practicing orthopaedic surgery in the Capital District since 1991. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Katz received his undergraduate degree from Vanier College. His medical degree and orthopaedic residency are from McGill University. Dr. Katz completed a fellowship in Total Joint Anthroplasty at University Hospital in London, Ontario.
Dr. Katz's practice accepts all areas of Orthopaedics with his special interest in patients with joint disorders and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Katz is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1994 and was re-certified for an additional ten years in 2003. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and sits on the Board of the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Katz sees patients in the Albany, Delmar and Latham Offices.
