We are pleased to provide you this information with the hopes that it will assist you in gaining maximum benefit from our services. Although we are a large group of orthopaedic surgeons, we are dedicated to the compassionate care of our patients. Added strength comes through the combining of our talents and experience to offer you extended and Saturday hours, six office locations, and an "on-call" physician twenty-four hours a day.

Sub-specialities of the group include surgery of the hand and upper extremities, total joint replacement and reconstructive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, surgery of the spine, foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and acute pain management. This merger of skills and service provides you with a convenient source for solutions to your orthopaedic needs.

Visits with us are by appointment. Please let us know if you need to be seen more urgently. If your physician asks you to return for a follow up appointment, please make this arrangement at the time of your office visit or hospital discharge.
Cancellations: Please notify us as soon as possible of your need to cancel an appointment.

We are available around the clock for emergencies. Should one arise, call us immediately at our main office number, (518) 453-9088. If you call after regular office hours, our telephone answering service will relay the message to our on-call physician.

Please request prescription renewals at the time of your next office visit or call during office hours if you must renew a prescription sooner. Please do not call after hours for prescriptions. We prescribe no medications over the phone without the benefit of firsthand knowledge of our patients.

Occasionally medication we prescribe may cause a problem such as rash or upset stomach. If you experience a problem, stop the medication and notify us immediately.

To aid us in the diagnosis and treatment of your condition, tests such as EMG's, MRI's or C.T. Scans may have to be performed. We can provide EMG's and MRI's in our Albany Office.  In any case, we will arrange for these tests as soon as possible. We will also set up your priority return appointment for approximately one week to allow time for these test to be evaluated and sent back to us for review. We do offer Bone Densitometry Testing in our office which aids in the diagnosis of osteoporosis.  Ask your doctor if you think you may be at risk for this treatable condition.
